2002

2003

  • First provider of video communications to support a new standard (H.264) for video quality across all video endpoints and video infrastructure over IP or ISDN networks.
  • TANDBERG See&Share customer premise solution introduced to enable data conferencing for video and audio participants.
  • Tactical, a briefcase-sized portable state-of-the-art video system, introduced.

2004

  • TANDBERG announces a strategic partnership with Cisco Systems.
  • First to ship IP video solutions for Cisco CallManager, making video as simple as a phone call.
  • First in industry to include advanced security as standard in all products
  • Introduced instant messaging for business-quality video.

2005

  • TANDBERG introduces Expressway™ technology that securely overcomes corporate network firewalls to make face-to-face interaction convenient and cost-effective.
  • Integration with Microsoft Live Communications Server and Office Communicator expanded.
  • TANDBERG acquires Ivigo, a 3G innovator, to provide unprecedented mobile visual communications.
  • TANDBERG acquires Ectus, positioning TANDBERG to be the first company to deliver "anytime, anywhere" streaming and archiving of business-quality video
  • Integration with IBM expanded to enable IBM® Lotus® Sametime® users to launch ad-hoc video calls.
  • TANDBERG delivers the world's first IPv6, (next-generation Internet protocol) implementation of videoconferencing
  • Integration with Nortel, supporting Nortel's Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)
